'Glimpses of Fleeting Moments' is a short documentary film exploring Generation Z's thoughts, feelings and experiences surrounding the media practice of visual self-documentation via smartphones and its contribution to the narrative of the self. This piece particularly illuminates how visual documentation offers a chance for self-reflexivity by identifying moments of joy and hardship. From Gen Z's perspective of navigating their early 20s, where life oscillates between change and stagnancy, recognising the ebbs and flows within one's visual narrative becomes a source of reassurance and hope for the future. Through the portrayal of my contributors' footage, I wish for my film to encourage individuals to find happiness in the moments of life that may go unrecognised and find glimmers of hope from their cherished memories. This film serves as the creative output for my research for my MA final project.

A short documentary exploring dating apps through a queer female perspective. The film serves as a discussion into the intricacies of online dating for women. Despite the contrasting experiences, the responses within the film reflect the patriarchal and heteronormative norms that govern women within the offline world, as well as dating apps.
Dancing On Our Own (2022) - WATCH HERE
A documentary short exploring the effects of the loss of nightlife during the coronavirus pandemic on the queer community. LGBTQ+ clubs and bars have historically provided a safer space for these individuals to express themselves. Using interviews and footage from those involved in the scene, this film tells the story of those for whom clubbing provides a support system.
Born Anew (2022) - WATCH HERE
A short documentary about the lived experience of those who have moved to London from various locations; including Singapore, Nigeria and Canada. This film particularly explores the loneliness and isolation one may feel when they first arrive in the city and uncovers the burdens of those who move away from their home country. Including visuals and sound from London to creatively illustrate London as a city.
